This page explains what this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated October 2026.
Information we collect
Information you give us
If you fill out the contact form on this site, we receive the name, email address, phone number and message you type in, along with the subject you select. We use it to answer you. That is the only reason we ask for it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you look at, and the site you came from. This is used to understand how the site is being used and to keep it working properly and securely.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to you, to follow up if you have asked about visiting, prayer, the food pantry or a ministry, and to keep the website running and secure. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
If you send a prayer request and ask that it stay between you and the pastors, we honor that.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets analytics cookies. They help us understand things like how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they are, so we can make the site more useful. The notice you see on your first visit tells you this is happening.
Some strictly necessary cookies may also be set so that basic features, such as the contact form's security check, work correctly.
You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Every major browser lets you do this, and doing so will not stop you reading the site.
Third-party services
A small number of outside services help run this site:
- Our web host stores the site and its files and keeps standard server logs.
- Google Analytics gives us the visit statistics described above.
- Google reCAPTCHA may be used on the contact form to keep automated spam out. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms apply to that.
- Google Maps may be used for directions if you choose to click through.
These services have their own privacy policies and we do not control them.
Data retention
Messages sent through the contact form are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and keep a record of the conversation. If you would like us to delete a message you sent, ask and we will.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children through it. If you believe a child has sent us information through this site, please contact us and we will remove it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can clear or block cookies in your browser. You can also simply call the church instead of using the form, if you would rather not type anything into a website at all.
Contact us
If you have a question about this policy, call the church at (501) 519-6454, write to Christ Church, PO Box 517, Alexander, AR 72002, or send us a message.
